From her mother who thinks she is famous:

"Renowned for her lively and free figurative art, Betsy Oh seamlessly blends traditional clay sculpting techniques with unexpected flair, resulting in quirky and playful works of art that resonate with all humans."
Hi! Thanks for stopping by.
Betsy is a figurative sculptor and oil painter based in Woodstock, Georgia. She finds inspiration for her bold and colorful work from the human form, nature, old photographs, and travel. Her work frequently combines the human form with animals, creating fantastical chimeras, finding beauty in the grotesque and magic in the mundane. She works in sculptural clay combining found objects and metals. Her finishes include underglazes, oxides, silver leaf, encaustic wax, and glazes.
Her red hair is from a box, she rarely ties her shoes and always has a hard time finding her phone. Betsy sells her work online if you are able to distract her from counting ceiling tiles or fighting for equal rights for every human.

Betsy's journey as a clay artist is deeply rooted in Marietta's rich cultural tapestry, and her creations are a celebration of the vibrant artistic community that has shaped her craft. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, she transforms humble clay into extraordinary pieces that enchant collectors and art enthusiasts alike.
